In this FAQ section, we intend to answer the most frequently asked questions regarding the course Entrepreneurship & Digital Transformation. Please make sure to thoroughly read the course website as well as the information provided on this page. If any questions remain open, please do not hesitate to contact us via edt.bwl"AT"uni-hamburg.de. Please understand that we are not answering questions that are already covered on the course website or in this FAQ section.
Furthermore, note that the chair cannot answer questions regarding registration and examination procedures. The academic office is exclusively responsible for these topics. Please refrain from contacting us in that respect.
How do I register for the course?
You have to register for the course Entrepreneurship & Digital Transformation via STINE.
I have technical difficulties with STiNE. Where do I get help?
If any technical problems occur, please contact the STiNE-Line.
How do I get access to the WLAN?
Information on how to access the WLAN can be found on the website of the RRZ.
How can I install Zoom?
You can find an instruction to install the Zoom client on your device on the RRZ website.
How can I join a Zoom meeting?
Only registered students can join the lecture. We will provide the necessary log-in details via STiNE message.
Lectures and Tutorials
When does the lecture start?
The lecture starts on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 08:00 am. You can access all course materials and Zoom details via STiNE. Registered students only.
Is attendance at the lectures and tutorials compulsory?
No, attendance is not compulsory. However, we do strongly advise you to attend all lectures, guest lectures, and tutorials. All lectures, as well as the guest lectures and the case studies, are relevant for the exam.
Where can I download the course material?
You can download all course materials via the "Studieninfonetz" (STiNE).
I'm unable to access the course materials and/or open the PDF files.
The course material is available on STiNE and the course page. If you have trouble opening the PDF files, please download the latest version of the Acrobat Reader or switch to a different browser. If that advice does not work for you, please write an e-mail to edt.bwl"AT"uni-hamburg.de.
How can I ask questions regarding the case studies?
We organize several Q&A sessions. All necessary information to submit questions can be retrieved from the respective case study cover sheet.
Which devices are allowed in the exam?
You may use a calculator that has no option to write text to the memory. You are not allowed to carry cell phones, smart phones, or other mobile devices with you during the exam. Any device that you carry with you (no matter whether switched on or oﬀ) will be treated as an attempt of deception.
In which language will the exam be held?
The exam tasks are set in English. You can answer them either in English or German. However, please do not change the language within a task. The chosen language has no influence on the grading.
Can I use a dictionary in the exam?
You are not allowed to use a dictionary in the exam. However, we make sure to use in the exam only words that have been applied during the lectures and/or in the case studies. If needed, the translation of selected words will be provided to all students.
Is there a sample solution for the exam?
No, there is no sample solution available for the exam.
