The lecture starts on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 08:00 am. You can access all course materials via STiNE.

No, attendance is not compulsory. However, we do strongly advise you to attend all lectures, guest lectures, and tutorials. All lectures, as well as the guest lectures and the case studies, are relevant for the exam.

We organize a Q&A session. All necessary information to submit questions can be retrieved from the respective case study cover sheet.

You may use a calculator that has no option to write text to the memory. You are not allowed to carry cell phones, smart phones, or other mobile devices with you during the exam. Any device that you carry with you (no matter whether switched on or off) will be treated as an attempt of deception.

The exam tasks are set in English. You can answer them either in English or German. However, please do not change the language within a task. The chosen language has no influence on the grading.

You are not allowed to use a dictionary in the exam. However, we make sure to use in the exam only words that have been applied during the lectures and/or in the case studies. If needed, the translation of selected words will be provided to all students.
